Julia Frances Kotarba

Julia Frances Kotarba, age 98 of Springfield, Missouri and a former resident of Allison, Pa., passed away Monday, May 7, 2012 in Strafford Care Center, Springfield, Missouri.

She was born December 23, 1913 in Mount Pleasant, Pa., a daughter of the late John Honeychuck and Mary (Jarko) Honeychuck.

Julia was a member of the Church of the Madonna, Cardale, Pa. and the Confraternity of Christian Mothers at the church. She was also a member of Court Brownsville, C.D.A. 1141.

Julia was preceded in death by her husband Alex W. Kotarba, sisters Evelyn and Mary Honeychuck and Verna Sidlovsky, a brother Albert Honeychuck and her parents.

Surviving are her sons: Robert Kotarba and wife Debra of Springfield, Mo. and Richard Kotarba and wife Barbara of Sewickley, Pa.; eight grandchildren: Robert, Richard, Russell, Christine, Gregory, Julie, Wesley and Wade;14 great-grand-children: Rae, Dayle, Corrie, Casey, Catherine, Lynette, Tica, Cody, Emma, Carter, Sarah, Keaton, Ryan and Kaelynn; four great great grandchildren; and a sister Anna Mishaga of Strongsville, Ohio.

Friends will be received in the ROBERT T. KISH FUNERAL HOME, 19 Legion St., Republic, PA on Friday, May 11, 2012 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Saturday until 10 a.m., when a Prayer Service will be held. A Funeral Mass follows at 10:30 a.m. in the Church of the Madonna with Rev. Fr. William McGuirk as Celebrant.
