Trudi G. Pariser
Trudi G. Pariser passed away on May 8, 2012, in Oak Park, Ill.
A longtime resident of Uniontown, Trudi was born in Brownsville, Pa., the daughter of Edward and Ethel Gottesman.
She moved to Uniontown in 1952. Trudi was active in many organizations in the local community, including the Association for Retarded Children of Fayette County, Touchstone Center for Crafts, Uniontown Art Club and the Temple Israel Sisterhood.
Trudi was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She was a talented artist, a gifted hostess and had a true enthusiasm for life. She will be missed very much.
In addition to her parents, Trudi was preceded in death by her husband, Daniel Pariser; sister, Margaret Beneman and brothers, Harry, James, Charles and Robert Gottesman.
Trudi is survived by her sister, Anabel Boas, of Pittsburgh, Pa.; her children, Harry Pariser of San Francisco, Calif., Edward Pariser and Aggie Zarkadas of Oak Park, Ill., Susan Pariser Roberts and Peter Roberts of Mansfield, Ohio and her grandson, Daniel Roberts. She is also survived by many adored nieces, nephews, grand-nieces, grand-nephews and friends.
Arrangements have been entrusted to ANDREW D. FERGUSON FUNERAL HOME, INC., 80 Morgantown Street, Uniontown, Pa. Calling hours will begin at 11 a.m. on Friday, May 11, followed by a service at 1:00 p.m. at the Andrew D. Ferguson Funeral Home, with Rabbi Sion David presiding. Interment will be in the Hebrew Cemetery in Hopwood, Pa., immediately following the service.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial donations be made to the ARC of Fayette County, 80 Old New Salem Rd., Uniontown, PA 15401, the Glaucoma Research Foundation, 251 Post St., Suite 600, San Francisco CA or the Western Pennsylvania Conservancy, 800 Waterfront Dr., Pittsburgh PA 15222.
