Elizabeth ‘Betsy’ (McLaughlin) Bailey
E l i z a b e t h ‘B e t s y’ (McLaughlin) Bailey, L.P.N., age 64, Masontown, Pa., and formerly of Carmichaels, Pa., died Thursday, May 10, 2012 in the Uniontown Hospital.
Betsy was born January 21, 1948 in Uniontown, Pa., the d a u g h t e r o f R o b e r t McLaughlin and Brunetta (Andrews) McLaughlin.
She was a retired Licensed Practical Nurse.
Betsy was a member of St. Hugh Church in Carmichaels, St. Hugh Altar/Rosary Society, and Masontown Business and Professional Women (BPW).
She was devoted and loving mother to Jason D. Bailey of Daytona Beach, Florida and Janel E. Mudry and husband Dr. Brian Mudry, Masontown, Pa.; and grandmother to McKenna Bailey, B r a d y Mudry and Quinn Mudry.
She is also survived by two sisters: Rae Nicholson and husband Bill of Uniontown, Pa., and Idessa Hricisak and husband David of Bethel Park, Pa.; nieces and nephews.
Deceased in addition to her parents, are a brother, Robert ‘Butch’ McLaughlin; and a sister, Patsy Ann McLaughlin who died in infancy.
A Memorial Mass will be said at SAINT HUGH CHURCH, 408 Route 88 Road, Carmichaels, Pa., on Monday May 14, 2012 at 5:30 p.m. with the Reverend Father John M. Bauer as Celebrant.
