New FCTV show has much to offer
Did you catch the third episode of Fayette County Community Television’s live variety show “Going LIVE with FCTV” on Friday?
In addition to a performance from Stereotype and a chat with artist Sheree Cockrell, we had fun with health coach Lindsey Smith and enjoyed a healthy cooking demonstration from Mario Porreca.
“Going LIVE” helps us accomplish two of our objectives as your community station: to provide healthy lifestyle tips with local flare and to spotlight homegrown talent and hometown treasures.
Another way we accomplish these goals is through partnering with the Uniontown Area YMCA, a true gem of our local community that has been built and sustained by local people like you.
Monthly, we bring you a new episode of “Inside the Y,” hosted by Uniontown YMCA program staff member Chrissy Stone. Each month, Chrissy and her interviewees spotlight upcoming programs and initiatives at the state-of-the-art YMCA facility and let you know how the Uniontown Y is meeting the health and social service needs of Fayette County families.
Be on the lookout for a new episode of “Inside the Y,” debuting this Tuesday, and find out how the Uniontown Area YMCA can help you and your family have a happy, healthy summer!

FCTV is broadcast to more than 21,000 households on Atlantic Broadband Channel 77.
