Mary Jane (Geary) Cutter
Mary Jane (Geary) Cutter, 90, formerly of Connellsville, Pa. died Sunday, May 13, 2012 at Mt. St. Macrina Manor, Uniontown with her family by her side. She was born June 19, 1921 in Normalville, a daughter of the late Addison and Leah (Weimer) Geary.
Prior to her retirement, she worked for over 20 years as a nursing assistant with Frick Hospital. She was a member of the Connellsville Church of God, the Sunday School Class, and the C.W.C. She loved her grandchildren. She also enjoyed helping with Bible School and her affiliation with the PA Association for the Blind.
She is the last surviving member of her immediate family. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Cutter (1997); 4 brothers, Roy, Russell, Kenneth Ralph and Donald Geary and a son – in -law, John R. Zimmerman, Sr.
She is survived by her children: Robert Rowan and wife Bernice of Normalville, Retha Zimmerman of Connellsville, Leah Quarrick and husband Walter of East Millsboro, Pa., Jodee Kirchner of Beaver and Jan Cutter of Greensburg; grandchildren: Miranda Amuso and husband Robert, John R. Zimmerman, Jr., Christine Beneke and husband Mark, Adam Thompson and special friend Kim Richardson, Emily and Jennifer Kirchner, and Caitlin, Noah, Luke, Ian, and Addison Shroyer; and great grand-children: Keary Fulton and husband Kyle, Robb Clark, Shane and Zachary Beneke, and Amber and Erich Thompson.
Family and friends will be received in the PAUL G. FINK FUNERAL HOME, INC., 418 North Pittsburgh St., Connellsville Today from 6-8 p.m. and Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Additional visitation will be held at the CONNELLSVILLE CHURCH OF GOD Thursday from 9 until 11 a.m. the hour of her Funeral Service with Pastor Nelson Confer officiating.
Interment will follow in Green Ridge Memorial Park, Pennsville. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her memory to the Connellsville Church of God or the PA Association for the Blind.
