Evelyn B. Nehela
Evelyn B. Nehela, a loving and devoted wife and mother, age 86 of Filbert, Pa. passed away Monday, May 14, 2012 in Uniontown Hospital.
She was born December 13, 1925 in Republic, daughter of the late Richard Miller and Onalee (Lancaster) Miller.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister Dolly Miller and her brother Richard Miller.
Evelyn was a member of St. Procopius R. C. Church, New Salem.
She is survived by her husband of sixty-eight years, Joseph Nehela; her children: Susan Wence and husband Melvin of Matthews, North Carolina, Johanna Kara and husband Albert of Brownsville, Joseph Nehela and wife Robin of Filbert and John Nehela of Filbert; grandchildren: Jeffrey, Sandra, Lynda, Christina, Kevin, Brian, Bill and Amy; ten great-grandchildren and her sister Patricia Cirino of East Lake, Ohio.
Friends will be received in DEARTH FUNERAL HOME, New Salem on Thursday, May 17, 2012 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m and on Friday, May 18, 2012 until 11:30 a.m. when brief prayers will be said in the funeral home.
A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 12 o’clock Noon in St. Procopius R. C. Church with Rev. Fr. Peter L. Peretti as Celebrant.
Interment follows in St. Thomas Church Cemetery, Footedale.
A Parish Wake Service will be held Thursday evening at 7:30 p.m. in the Funeral Home.
