A Uniontown man is facing charges for attempted homicide after police allege he shot a Connellsville man during a road rage incident in North Union Township Tuesday night.

State police Trooper John Krause said Ralph Ore Fisher, 22, was charged before Magisterial District Judge Randy S. Abraham with criminal attempt homicide, aggravated assault, simple assault, recklessly endangering another person, propulsion of missiles and criminal mischief for shooting Derek McKulka.

Krause said the shooting occurred around 10:30 p.m. on Pittsburgh Street, just outside of Uniontown, when McKulka was traveling northbound.

Krause said McKulka came upon Fisher’s vehicle, which he said was weaving back and forth and traveling about 15 mph.
