Ann Katusa, age 82, of Carmichaels, Pa., died Tuesday, May 15, 2012 in her home.

Ann was born April 28, 1930 in Iselin, Pa., the daughter of the late Anthony and Josephine Johngarlo Medunic.

In 1950, Ann married Joseph Katusa who survives. Also surviving are 3 daughters, Sharon (Ed) Pauley, Tornado, W.Va., Christine (John) Zupanic, Bethel Park, Pa., Jacqueline (Paul), Okonak, Nashua, N.H.; a son, David Katusa (Amy), North Port, N.Y., and a nephew, John Medunic, whom she raised; 12 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews; one sister, Josephine Minerd, Rocky River, Ohio, and two brothers, John Medunic, Crucible and Anthony (Aleida) Medunic, San Rafael, Calif.

Besides her parents, an infant son is deceased.

Ann was a member of St. Hugh Church, Carmichaels, and the Altar Rosary Society.

She enjoyed playing golf and walking. Ann played in the Summit and Carmichaels Golf Leagues. She was one of the rare golfers who scored not one, but two, holes-in-one.

A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at ST. HUGH CHURCH, 408 Rt. 88 Rd., Carmichaels, on Saturday, May 19, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. with the Reverend John Bauer, Celebrant.
