Florence M. Wachinski
Florence M. Wachinski, age 78, of California, Pa., died Tuesday, May 15, 2012.
She was born Thursday, December 14, 1933, in Brier Hill, Pa., the daughter of the late John Paul Janosik and Mildred (Brozovic) Janosik.
She was a member of St. Thomas Aquinas Church and cherished her time with the Divine Mercy Group.
Florence was preceded in death by her parents.
Left to cherish her memory are her husband of 59 years, Joseph V. Wachinski Sr.; five children, Joseph Wachinski Jr. and wife, Laurel, of Belle Vernon, Pa., Cynthia Harper and husband, Ronald, of Carroll Township, Pa., David Wachinski and wife, Sandra, of Van Vorrhis, Pa., Michael Wachinski of Charleroi, Pa., Christina Weaver and husband Robert, of California, Pa.; brother, John Janosik and wife Ruth, of Enfield, Conn. and sister, Patricia Vallango and husband, Samuel, of Levittown, Pa. Also surviving are twelve grandchildren: Edward and Rachel Harper, Nicole Filby, Alesia and Jessica Wachinski, David Wachinski, Breanna Swan, Michael, Stephen, and Kelly Wachinski, Holly and Kim; thirteen great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received in the MARISCOTTI FUNERAL HOME, INC., Anthony N. Mariscotti, Supervisor, 323 Fourth Street, California, Pa. on Friday, May 18, 2012 from 6 to 9 p.m. and until 10:00 a.m on Saturday when a blessing service will be held in the funeral home followed by a 10:30 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial with Fr. George Moneck as Celebrant.
