New Salem VFD prepares for parade

New Salem Vounteer Fire Department is inviting any fire department or organization to participate in its annual Memorial Day parade.

Parade lineup will be at 9 a.m. Monday, May 28, on North Mill Street in New Salem. The parade will start at 10 a.m. Services will be held at the New Salem Honor Roll at American Legion Post 753.

Refreshments will be served at the fire hall following the services.
