Helen Margaret (Basili) Minerd
Helen Margaret (Basili) Minerd, age 92, of Uniontown, Pa., passed away on Saturday evening, May 19, 2012 at her home with her loving son Rick and her daughter-in-law Barb at her side.
Helen was born Thursday, December 18, 1919 beloved daughter of Carlo Basili and Maria (Novelli) Basili.
Helen was employed for many years at the Berkowitz Shirt Factory in Uniontown.
She enjoyed her time at ‘Senior Life’.
Helen was predeceased by parents; her husband, Vic, on February 4, 1972; her brother, Leonard Basili; her sister, Tye Royesky; a brother and a sister Celso and Regina who passed away at a young age; and a granddaughter, Jenny.
In addition to her son Rick and his wife Barb of Lemont Furnace, Pa., she is survived by her loving grandsons Mark and his wife Chrissy of Lemont Furnace and Cory and his lady Robin Kisner, Smithfield, Pa.; and her great granddaughter, Ashley. Chrissy and Robin loved Margaret as if she were their own grandmother.
Helen is also survived by her sisters, Jean Piccolomini of Cardale, Pa., Lena Dulik of Uniontown, Pa., as well as several nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received in the THOMAS M. DOLFI FUNERAL H O M E, 136 North Gallatin Avenue, Uniontown, Pa., on Tuesday, May 22, 2012 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in SAINT THERESE DE LISIEUX CATHOLIC CHURCH, Mill Street, Uniontown, Pa., on Wednesday, May 23, 2012. Please contact Funeral Home for the time of the Service.
Interment will follow in Sylvan Heights Cemetery.
