Phyllis M. (Crayton) Bell
Phyllis M. (Crayton) Bell, 70 years, of Uniontown, Pa., passed away suddenly on Saturday, May 19, 2012.
She was born March 6, 1942 in Lemont Furnace, Pa., daughter of the now late James Crayton and Nellie (Davidson) Crayton.
Phyllis attended Brownfield United Methodist Church and was currently serving as Church Treasurer.
She was a member of the Uniontown Service League and was currently serving as Publicity Chairperson and Vice-President Elect.
Surviving are her loving family: her husband of 47 years, Gerald “Jerry” Bell; two children: Brian Bell, Manville, New Jersey and Valerie Brown and husband Cliff, Knoxville, Tennessee; five grandchildren: Megan, Amanda, Kayla, Sara and Madison; two great grand children: Skyler and Aliya; sisters and brothers: Barbara Gillen and husband Earl of Uniontown, Pa., Gwendolyn Morrison, Richmond, Virginia, Gary Crayton and his wife Delores of Chalk Hill, Pa., Donald Crayton of Lemont Furnace, Pa., Sara Pawlak of Elliottsville, Pa., and Joan Nuckels and husband Richard, New Cumberland, Virginia; and many nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends in the DEAN C. WHITMARSH FUNERAL HOME, 134 West Church Street, Fairchance, Pa., on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and on Wednesday, May 23, 2012 until 11 a.m., the hour of the Service with Reverend Diane Olson officiating.
Interment will follow in M o u n t M o r i a h Baptist Cemetery, Smithfield, Pa.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Brownfield United Methodist Church or to the Uniontown Public Library.
