Two injured in Springfield Pike accident
Two people were flown to UPMC Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburgh following a single vehicle accident that occurred on Route 711 in Connellsville Township Wednesday afternoon. The condition of the two victims was not immediately known. Connellsville police were assisted at the scene by state police and Connellsville Township Volunteer Fire Department.
