Kenneth Riggin
Kenneth Riggin, age 69, of Farmington, Pa., passed away peacefully at his home with his loving family by his side on Monday, November 5, 2012.
He was born September 14, 1943 at Bitner, Pa., son of the late Paul and Mabel (Guthrie) Riggin. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Edward Riggin.
Surviving are his loving wife, Annabelle (Cupp) Riggin with whom he celebrated fifty years of marriage on August 8, 2012; five daughters: Paulette Dixon and Jim of Bruceton Mills, W. Va., Christine Felice and husband, Scott, of Markleysburg, Linda King and husband of Markleysburg, Sandra Tasker and friend, Todd Harbarger, of Smithfield, Karen Landman and husband, Rick, of Lemont Furnace; six grandchildren, Ashley and Marissa D i x o n, Jamie Fishburn and husband, Coty, Crystal King, Scott Felice and Nathan Tasker and wife, Kim; one great-grandson, Andrew Tasker and special friend, Jake King, and several nephews and cousins.
Kenneth was retired from Smell Paving Company and was the caretaker at Brown Cemetery for 32 years. He loved gardening and fishing and his devoted dog, Toby. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him.
Friends will be received in the DONALD R. CRAWFORD FUNERAL HOME, FARMINGTON on Thursday from 2 to 8 p.m. Funeral services will be held Friday at 11:00 a.m. with the Rev. Michael Grantz officiating. Interment will follow in Brown Cemetery, Elliottsville, Pa.
