Fayette TV remembers lost loved ones
As 2012 draws to a close, each of us looks back on ups and downs.
For many of us who experienced the loss of a loved one this year, life may seem a little emptier. Fayette TV recently learned that one of our partners in the business community, Stephen E. Kezmarsky III, funeral director of the Kezmarsky Funeral Home, will again host a special gathering to celebrate the lives of our departed family members and friends.
On Dec. 9 at 6 p.m., the Kezmarsky Funeral Home will be hosting its “Time to Remember” memorial service, an event aimed at comforting and supporting individuals who are grieving losses, old and new. It’s also a chance for all of us to ensure that those who have gone before us are not forgotten. The Kezmarsky family has hired our team to film the memorial service, and we’re grateful for the opportunity.
The holiday season can be a particularly difficult season for folks who are mourning, but spending time in quiet reflection in the company of others can help the gradual process of healing take place.
Kezmarsky tells us that local clergy, musicians, and speakers will make “A Time to Remember” very meaningful. As in the past, the funeral home is extending an opportunity for individuals to submit their departed loved ones’ photographs to be part of a video collage that will be viewed during the ceremony.
Those photos can be mailed to the funeral home; alternatively, Kezmarsky and his staff would be happy to pick them up from your home.
