Suspect in crash turns himself in
A Uniontown man wanted on charges including aggravated assault with a vehicle turned himself in to police after he discovered he was wanted when be read an article in the newspaper.
Uniontown police Detective Donald M. Gmitter said Vaughn Maurice Gaines II, 21, of Uniontown was wanted on charges of aggravated assault with a vehicle while driving under the influence of alcohol, accidents involving personal injury, two counts of drunken driving, accidents involving damage to property, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
