Mildred (Fowler) Umble
Mildred (Fowler) Umble, age 92 years, a guest of the Golden Living Nursing Home, Uniontown, Pa., passed away Friday, November 23, 2012.
She was born December 22, 1919 in Monongalia County, West Virginia a daughter of the now late Glenn Fowler and Mary (Myers) Fowler.
Mildred was a member of the Springhill Presbyterian Church.
She worked as a domestic and a janitor at Tobin School until its closing and as a waitress for the former Mac’s Ranch Restaurant on Route 119 South in Springhill Township.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Andrew Umble Sr.; a daughter Mary Messick; sons, Lester Glenn and Ronald Lee; and the following sisters and brothers, Floranette Romesburg, Pauline Fowler, Glen Fowler Jr., and Dane Fowler.
She is survived by daughter, Monnie Campbell and her husband James of Uniontown, Pa.; a son, Andrew Umble and his wife Loretta of Smithfield, Pa.; 13 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, 16 great-great grandchildren; one brother, Arthur Fowler of Smithfield; and a sister, Arlene Sabatula of Uniontown, Pa.
