Ruth Marie Jeffreys Barber
Ruth Marie Jeffreys Barber, age 91, of Uniontown, Pa., went to be with the Lord on Sunday, November 25, 2012.
She was born December 14, 1920.
Preceding her in death were her parents, Charles R. Jeffreys and Esther Sickles Jeffreys; a brother, Robert E. Jeffreys and a sister, Evelyn Cooley.
Ruth was a graduate of Uniontown Senior High School and a member of the Uniontown Free Methodist Church. She was a very dedicated Sunday School teacher for primary grade students throughout her church life.
Surviving are her husband of 66 years Frank A. Barber, Jr.; two sisters, Juanita J. Cramer and husband, Richard, of Uniontown and Beatrice E. Flinner of Mt. Vernon Ohio and many loving nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received in the JEROME W. SHELL FUNERAL HOME, 164 S. Mt. Vernon Ave., Uniontown PA on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. and on Thursday until 11 a.m., the hour of service, with the Rev. Eugene W. Cowsert officiating. Interment will follow in Sylvan Heights Cemetery.
