Martha Kay Bosley
Martha Kay Bosley, age 65, of Chalk Hill, PA passed away Wednesday, November 28, 2012 in Jefferson Regional Medical Center. She was born on August 19, 1947 in Connellsville, PA, the daughter of Earl M. Bosley, Sr. and Martha L. Stehle Elleard.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her stepfather Robert Elleard and a niece Autumn Sue Bosley.
Kay graduated from Uniontown High School with the Class of 1972 and then received her bachelor’s in education from California University of PA and did Post Graduate work at University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia receiving a certificate in computer science.
She was the owner of K’s Designs and worked as a teacher’s aid at the School for the Physically Handicapped in West Leisenring, PA. Kay was a member of the Asbury United Methodist Church, the United Methodist Women and Open Doors for the Handicapped.
Kay is survived two brothers Earl M. Bosley, Jr and wife Mary of Hopwood and R. Thomas Elleard of Uniontown; sister Patricia Tobal and husband James of Hopwood; three nephews, two great nephews and a great niece.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the ANDREW D. FERGUSON FUNERAL HOME, 80 Morgantown St., Uniontown, PA, where family and friends may call Today from 2 – 4 p.m. and 6 – 8 p.m. and Saturday, December 1, 2012 from 10 – 11 a.m. in ASBURY UNITED METHODIST CHURCH followed by a service celebrating Kay’s life at 11 a.m. with Rev. Don Kephart officiating.
Interment will follow in Greenridge Memorial Park, Connellsville.
