Car chase ends up in head-on crash in Redstone Twp.
Three people were taken by ambulance to Uniontown Hospital Friday night when a vehicle being pursued by police collided with another vehicle on Filbert-Orient Road around 9:46 p.m.
According to Fayette County 911, the police pursuit had begun just two minutes earlier. The reason for the pursuit was not immediately known. As of 11:30 p.m. Redstone police were still at Uniontown Hospital with the accident victims according to 911 officials.
Redstone police were assisted at the scene by officers from Brownsville, Luzerne Township, Point Marion and Masontown, as well as by Fayette EMS and the Republic and Allison 2 volunteer fire departments.
