The Weatherman: Snow By Monday!
Yesterday’s spring like weather was perfect for just about anything, from raking leaves to dressing up like zombies and marching through the streets of Uniontown. The high yesterday was 74, the overnight low 42, and at 7AM we were 42 degrees under clear skies. There was no precipitation. We’ll have another day of strong south westerly flow along with very dry air that will allow the temperatures here in the mountains to get close to our record of 79 degrees. Tomorrow will still be dry and mild but a little cooler than today as a cold front approaches. The front will blast through on Saturday with showers and much cooler air. It’s looking like the front will combine into one large storm with hurricane Sandy as she moves up the coast bringing rain and gusty winds Sunday that will change to snow for the mountains and maybe even the lower elevations by Monday.
