Theresa Katherine Fudala Eichhorn
(August 1936 – August 2012)
Theresa Eichhorn grew up and lived in Uniontown, Pennsylvania almost her entire life surrounded by family and the beautiful nature of farm country.
She died suddenly in her home on August 24th in 2012 where she loved to be at the age of 75.
She was born on August 31, 1936 in her parents’ home, which was located right behind her current home. She loved being around nature, dogs, listening to polkas, reading, and quiet solitude.
She was the daughter of the late John Fudala Sr. and Mary (Bobak) Fudala.
She was married to the late Gilbert Eichhorn on February 26th in 1958 and had two children, Karen and Jeff.
She is survived by her daughter Karen Eichhorn, son-in-law Libor Stepanek, and two grandsons Aaron Stepanek and Daniel Stepanek of Longmont, Colo.; her son Jeff Eichhorn, and daughter-in-law Gisele of Peoria, Ariz.; stepdaughter Deborah Jeff and stepson-in-law Pete Jeff, and two step nieces, Amy and Laura of Mich.; her two sisters Bertha Yurik of Fairchance, Pa. and Mary Sulak of Murrells Inlet, S.C.; two sisters – in – law Mildred Pepe of Uniontown, Pa. and Betty Fudala of Smithfield, Pa., as well as many beloved nieces, nephews, and extended family.
Friends will be received in the STEPHEN R. HAKY FUNERAL HOME, INC. 603 North Gallatin Ave. Ext., Uniontown, Pa. at 11 a.m., on Saturday, September 8, 2012.
