AG building renovations continue
Construction projects in several Albert Gallatin Area School District buildings are moving forward as crews continue to work through the new school year.
A $6.5 million renovation project at George J. Plava Elementary School in McClellandtown is underway and includes new paving and landscaping and a total roof replacement. Interior renovations include upgrades to the electrical system to allow for energy-saving lights and windows. According to Carl Bezjak, district superintendent, the project is about one third of the way completed and is estimated to be finished next year.
