Paul Eugene Rankin, Sr.
Paul Eugene Rankin, Sr., age 65 of Uniontown, Pa. passed away Monday morning, September 10, 2012 in his home with his loving family at his side. He was born June 22, 1947, the son of the late Herb Rankin and Marie (Joseph) Rankin.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother Dale Rankin, sister Pauline Close and his first wife Marion (Zapotosky) Rankin.
Paul is survived by his second wife Eva (Rockwell) Rankin; son Paul E. Rankin, Jr. and wife Theresa and grandson ‘Little’ Paul; three daughters: Kimberly (Hice) Idrovo, Jamie (Hice) Guth and Joni Marie Hice; grandchildren: Christian and Eric Idrovo, Taylor Ansell, Nicholas and Matthew Guth; also his sister Irene Guthrie; ‘special’ daughter Linda Frey and her children: James, Leanna and April Tucker; Paula Rae Brozik whom he affectionately called his girlfriend and special friends Michael Crosby and Charlie Long.
Paul was a life long truck driver with his own rig and worked 17 years for his friend and employer Dale Malinzak and all his fellas at Dem Trucking. Last, but not least, Paul will be sadly missed by Shelly and Rocks.
Friends will be received in the KEZMARSKY FUNERAL HOME, 71 Pennsylvania Ave., Uniontown, Pa. on Thursday, September 13, 2012 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 and Friday morning until 10 a.m. the hour of Service. Interment follows in Mt. Washington Cemetery, Perryopolis, PA.
