Frank W. Crossland
Frank W. Crossland ‘PapPap’, age 80, passed away on Tuesday September 12, 2012 at BayCare Alliant, Dunedin, Florida with family by his side.
Frank was born March 13, 1932 in Uniontown Pa.
He was a veteran of the Army, serving during the Korean War. Frank and his wife Jean raised their two sons in Brownsville, Pa., where Frank owned and operated Standard Auto Supply for over 35 years. They moved to Palm Harbor, Fla. in 1986. Frank enjoyed golfing and his favorite sports teams, the Rays, Steelers, Buccaneers and Magic.
He is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Jean T. Crossland, and their two sons, Frank N. Crossland and wife Debra, Richard D. Crossland and wife, Susan; grandchildren Kelly Kochenour and husband William, Nicole Crossland, Cari Crossland and husband Douglas; and great -granddaughters, Abigail and Emily Crossland; one brother David Crossland and wife, Gail, all of Florida and many other family members and friends. Frank will be missed because he was truly loved by family and friends.
A public gathering will take place on Friday, September 14, 2012 from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. and Saturday, from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m. with funeral services to follow on Saturday at 11:00 a.m. Both events will be held at SYLVAN ABBEY FUNERAL HOME of Clearwater, Florida.
