Frank W. Crossland ‘PapPap’
Frank W. Crossland (PapPap), age 80 years, of Palm Harbor, Florida passed away Wednesday, September 12, 2012 at Bay Care Alliant Dunedin with family by his side.
Frank was born March 13, 1932 in Uniontown, Pennsylvania the son of Frank Whyel Crossland and Ethel E. (Jennings) Crossland.
He was a veteran of the United States Army who served during the Korean War.
Frank and his wife Jean raised their two sons in Brownsville, Pa., where Frank owned and operated Standard Auto Supply for over 35 years.
They moved to Palm Harbor, Florida in 1986.
Frank enjoyed golfing and his favorite sports teams, the Tampa Bay Rays, Pittsburgh Steelers, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Orlando Magic.
He is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Jean Theresa (Cicchetti) Crossland, and their two sons, Frank N. Crossland and his wife Debra, Richard D. Crossland and his wife Susan, grandchildren, Kelly Kochenour and husband William, Nicole Crossland, Cari Crossland and husband Douglas, great granddaughters Abigail Crossland and Emily Crossland, one brother, David Crossland and wife Gail, all of Florida; and many other family members and friends.
Frank will be missed because he was truly loved by family and friends.
