Ashby L. Kifer
Ashby L. Kifer, 92 of Uniontown, Pa., passed away Tuesday, September 18 at his residence.
Ashby was born in Oldtown, Md. on February 7, 1920, a son of the late Ellen and Walter Kifer.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 2 brothers.
He is survived by 4 sons: Ashby Kifer and wife Rose, Frances L. Kifer, Dale Kifer and Randy Kifer, all of Uniontown; 4 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; 2 sisters: Marlena Vanmeter of Cumberland, Md. and Meredith McKinney of Florida.
Friends will be received in the THOMAS M. DOLFI FUNERAL HOME, 136 North Gallatin Avenue, Uniontown, PA 15401 Thursday, September 20, 2012 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m.
A Funeral Service will be held in the funeral home on Friday, September 21, 2012 at 10 a.m. with the Rev. Galen Winebrenner officiating.
Interment will follow in Sylvan Heights Cemetery.
