Connellsville City Council establishes advisory board to aid community center
CONNELLSVILLE — City Council took a step forward in its goal to keep the Greater Connellsville Area Community Center from closing.
Tonight, council established a Community Center Advisory Board and appointed eight people to serve on the board.
“We were looking for fresh blood, fresh ideas,” said Councilman Greg Ritch, director of public parks and buildings. “We asked for persons of interest to sit on an advisory board to be our eyes and ears. I applaud these individuals for standing up.”
