Margaret Garbash Young D’Andrea
Margaret Garbash Young D’Andrea, age 88, of Uniontown, Pa. passed away Monday evening, September 17, 2012 in the Uniontown Hospital.
She was born December 16, 1923 in Grindstone, Pa., the daughter of the late Stephen Garbash and Mary (Horvat) Garbash.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 47 years, Albert John D’Andrea; her grandson Troy James Young, sisters: Betty Nemeth and Ann Dorogi, brother, Joe Garbash and her first husband George H. Young Jr.
Margaret was a member of the American Legion Post 51 Ladies Auxiliary. She was a member of St. Therese R.C. Church. She enjoyed Duck Pin Bowling at the former Laurel Lanes and she was an avid Steeler Fan.
She is survived by her loving son, George Young and wife Laura of Burbank, California; loving grandchildren: Andrea Young and Georgia Young; brother-in-law AlfredD’Andrea and his family; sister-in-law: Eleanor Draper and her family and sister-in-law, Mary Elentri and her family, other relatives and many friends.
Friends will be received in the KEZMARSKY FUNERAL HOME, 71 Pennsylvania Avenue, Uniontown, Pa., on Friday, September 21, 2012 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Saturday morning until 10 a.m. when a Blessing Service with be held with Msgr. Michael W. Matusak, V.F., Pastor, officiating.
Interment follows in Sylvan Heights Cemetery.
