Ronald B. ‘Ronnie’ Witteman, Sr.

Ronald B. ‘Ronnie’ Witteman, Sr. age 71, of Braznell, Pa., passed away unexpectedly on Monday, April 1, 2013.  He was born on March 30, 1942 in Brownfield, Pa., the son of the late Wendel and Eleanor Goodwin Witteman.

Ron was predeceased by his parents and a son Ronald ‘Dink’ Witteman, Jr.

Surviving are his companion, Dolores ‘Jeanie’ Cavrak of Braznell, whom he cherished and loved for 28 years; his daughter, Debra and husband, William Savage, of Hopwood, Pa.; grand-children: Christopher Witteman, Jessica Cumberland, Steven Witteman, Jaclyn Savage and Justin Savage; three great-grandchildren, and silky terrier companions Buddy and Lady.

He was loved and will be greatly missed by the entire Cavrak family, especially Tom Cavrak, Janet Cavrak Komacko, Suzanne Cavrak Croushore and Larry Newman.

Ron enjoyed spending his summers at his campsite at Big Bear Campground with family and friends.

Ron worked at Mullsberry and then retired as superintendent of maintenance from Village of Searights.

Friends will be received in the SKIRPAN FUNERAL HOME, 135 Park St., Brownsville, Pa. today until 10 a.m. when a funeral service will be held with Rev. Roland O’Brien officiating

Visitation was held Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8.
