The man who died Thursday afternoon in a two-vehicle accident on Route 119 in Bullskin Township has been identified by state police as Darrell Bonomo, 63, of Export.

The accident occurred around 4 p.m. at the intersection of Route 119 and Kingview/Crossroads.

State police are continuing to investigate the cause of the accident involving Bonomo’s car and a pickup truck driven by Daniel L. Evans, 56, of Chalk Hill. Evans was taken to Uniontown Hospital for treatment of minor injuries.

According to police, both vehicles had severe damage and were towed from the scene. Route 119 was closed in both directions and traffic was detoured until the scene was cleared. Fayette EMS, Smith’s Towing, and Bullskin and Everson volunteer fire departments assisted at the scene.
