Elaine (Frankenfield) Carnahan
Elaine (Frankenfield) Carnahan, age 87, of Dade City, Florida and formerly of Perryopolis, Perryopolis died on Thursday, April 4, 2013 at home.
Born July 2, 1925, in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania the daughter of Pury D. Frankenfield and Sylvia (Strunk) Frankenfield, Elaine was the widow of Lloyd Carnahan who died in 1997.
She was also preceded in death by her parents, three sisters and three brothers.
She is survived by two sons: Larry and wife Edith of Warfordsburg, Pennsylvania and Lynn and wife Cathy of Masontown, Pa.; five grandchildren: Kelly Peck and husband Randy Kenny Carnahan and wife Christine, Brian Carnahan and wife Lori, Carrie Shiner and husband Stan, MissiJo Morgan; great-grand children: Sara Carnahan, Karlie Ward, Kody Ward, Casey Carnahan, Mikayla Carnahan. She is also survived by two sisters: Faye Smith and Janet Rodenbaugh; and several nieces and nephews.
She was a member of First Congregational Church of Zephryhills Florida.
Funeral arrangements are being handled by the HODGES FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, US Highway 301, Dade City, FL 33525 (352.567.6100).
Family and Friends will be received at the Funeral Home on Monday, April 8, 2013 from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. with the Service at the Funeral Home at 11 a.m.
Burial will be at the Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, Florida at 1:30 p.m.
