Rose Stefancin, 88 of Smithfield, Pa. passed away on Monday, April 8, 2013 with her loving family by her side.  

She was born August 3, 1924 in Haydentown, Pa. the daughter of Stephen Stefancin and Anna (Hudock) Stefancin.

Rose was preceded in death by her parents, brothers: Andrew, Steve, Nicholas, Vincent, and William Stefancin.

Surviving are her sisters and brother: Susanna Stefancin and Elizabeth Parobek, both of Smithfield, Pa., Katherine Krysiak and husband Stanley, Euclid, Ohio and George Stefancin and wife Joyce, Mentor, Ohio; sisters-in-laws, Marcine Stefancin and Ann Stefancin and many nieces and nephews.

Rose was a member of Ss. Cyril and Methodius R.C. Church in Fairchance.

The family will receive friends in the DEAN C. WHITMARSH FUNERAL HOME, 134 West Church Street, Fairchance, Pa. on Saturday, April 13, 2013 from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m.

A Word Service begins at 11:00 a.m. in the Funeral Home with Rev. Fr. Andrew M. Kawecki officiating.

Interment will follow in Saint Joseph Cemetery, Fairchance, Pa.
