The Mountain Weatherman: Spring Showers
After yesterday morning freezing start we quickly warmed up and enjoyed a very nice spring afternoon here in the mountains, just perfect for the first grass cutting of the year. The high yesterday was 70, the 24 hour low 31 and at 7AM we were 36 degrees under partly cloudy skies. There was no precipitation. A cold front will be slowly making its way towards SW Pa today bringing some rain and maybe a little thunder starting after lunch and lasting into the evening. We’ll be chilly but dry tomorrow than we’ll have a really nice day Friday as we warm back up to near normal..
