North Carolina man charged in death of Uniontown man

Police in Fayetteville, N.C., said they have charged a man with first-degree murder in the death of a Uniontown man who was serving with the National Guard at Fort Bragg, N.C..

According to Lt. Todd Joyce, public information officer for the Fayetteville police, Anthony Dwayne Hair, 25, was arrested on Thursday for the alleged murder of Spec. Danny Ray McFadden, Sr., 28.

Hair allegedly shot McFadden during a party around 3 a.m. Monday, police said. Police said about 15 people were attending a party when three men produced weapons and robbed those in attendance.

Police said detectives have also obtained warrants against Darrick Lynn Grissom, Antonio Terrell Johnson and Thomas Wayne McCarley for first- degree murder in connection with McFadden’s death. All of the men are 24 years old. Joyce said the men have not yet been located.

Police said Hair is currently being held without bond.
