Richard Keith Kitis
Richard Keith Kitis, age 44, Uniontown, Pa., passed away Saturday, April 27, 2013 at home with his family at his bedside after a long battle with cancer.
He was born January 19, 1969 in Uniontown, Pa., son of Michael Kitis and Faye Kitis Grogan.
He was preceded in death by his father, Michael Kitis; and his sister, Mickie Lee Kitis.
Richard loved to hunt and fish and was member of Lemont Sportsmen’s Club where he enjoyed fishing with his brother and friends.
He attended the Little Brownfield Free Methodist Church.
He graduated from Laurel Highlands Senior High School, Class of 1986.
Richard worked as a Carpenter for B & R Development.
He is survived by his mother, Faye Kitis Grogan of Uniontown; his brother, Vernon Kitis and wife Tracy and children of Uniontown; and his son, Randy Kitis of Morgantown, W.Va.
It is Richard’s wish that casual attire be worn when attending the service.
Family and friends will be received in the KEZMARSKY FUNERAL HOME, 71 Pennsylvania Avenue, Uniontown, Pa., on Tuesday, April 30, 2013 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8:30 p.m. Funeral Service will be held at 8:30 p.m. with the Rev. Charles O’Brien officiating.
Interment will be private for the family and will be in Saint Mary’s Cemetery.
