Businesses raising money for blind

1 min read

The Fayette County Association for the Blind is having two fundraisers and an open house on Tuesday.

Through the “#GivingTuesday” movement, the association is planning “Dine to Make a Difference” at the Bob Evans Restaurant on Route 40 and Sweet Frog’s on Walnut Hill Road, both in South Union Township.

Customers must pick up a flyer at the association’s office, 48 Bierer Lane, Uniontown, from Monday through Friday between 8:30 a.m. and 4 p.m. to participate in the fundraiser at Bob Evans. A percentage of each breakfast, lunch, dinner or bakery bill paid by customers who present the flyers will be donated to the association. People who distribute flyers should write their names on the back. Whoever has the most flyers turned in will receive a $50 gift card.  At Sweet Frog’s, customers who visit between 6-9 p.m. and mention the association will have a percentage of their bills donated to the association. In addition, the association is having an open house to display its new computer training center from 3-7 p.m.
