Uniontown woman to stand trial in child endangerment

A Uniontown woman who police allege was unconscious from using illegal drugs while caring for her three young children Oct. 7 will stand trial.

Cheri Dawn Sokol, 30, of 28 Carson St. was charged with endangering the welfare of children after police allege she was under the influence of Phencyclidine, or PCP.

Sokol waived the charge against her to Fayette County Court during a preliminary hearing on this afternoon before Magisterial District Judge Michael M. Metros.
