Elias Abi-Nader
Elias AbiNader of Silver Spring, Maryland passed away Tuesday, December 3, 2013 at the age of 72.
He was born to Jean R. and Elizabeth J. (Nader) Abinader on April 6, 1941 in McClellandtown, Pennsylvania.
He attended All Saints High School, Masontown, Pennsylvania; graduated in the Class of 1958.
After serving in the armed forces 7th Army from 1958 to 1961, he graduated in 1964 from West Virginia University and attended graduate school at the University of Pittsburgh.
Elias worked in international business development, restaurant and retail management, a n d p r i v a t e transportation services.
Elias had a passion for history and politics.
He was very active in the Leisure World community, a member of the Our Lady of Grace Church and a 4th Degree Knight of Columbus.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Elizabeth in 2002; and his wife, Anne (Hankins) in 1999.
He is survived by his son, Jonathan Paul, from his marriage with Rebecca Cottle; his daughter-in-law, Laura and grandchildren Claire Eliza and Martine W. Gallardo; brothers: Jean R. AbiNader Jr., Roger J.
AbiNader; his sisters: Selma Abinader, Elmaz Abinader, Geralyn Abinader; two nephews: Faris AbiNader,
Christopher AbiNader; a niece, Millan AbiNader.
Memorial Service will be held at OUR LADY OF GRACE CHURCH, 15661 Norbeck Blvd., Silver Spring, MD 20906 on Friday, December 6, 2013 at 1 p.m.
