Defense attorney raises questions in drug arrest

By Josh Krysak jkrysak@heraldstandard.Com 1 min read

The defense attorney representing a Uniontown lawyer charged with sneaking heroin and other drugs to a man being detained at the Uniontown Police Department says his client should have been searched upon entry to the building and also says that video surveillance of the transaction has been inadvertently lost.

Brian Joseph Salisbury, 34, of 716 Second St., Newell, is charged with delivery of a controlled substance, transmission of a controlled substance to a confined person and three counts of drug possession.

Magisterial District Judge Michael M. Metros held all charges against Salisbury for Fayette County Court following a preliminary hearing Tuesday.
