Anna Mae (Kelly) Hainzer

Anna Mae (Kelly) Hainzer, age 82 years, of Masontown, Pa., went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday December 18th, 2013 in the UPMC Presbyterian Hospital, Pittsburgh, Pa.

She was born January 31, 1931 in Smithfield, Pa., to Ida Mae (Zinn) Kelly Thorpe and Charles E. Kelly.

She was a member of the Pals Club Ladies Auxiliary.

Anna Mae was very devoted to her family and enjoyed cooking, baking, sewing and bingo in her earlier years.

She enjoyed eating out and going to the Senior Center in the later years.

She had a special place in her heart for children and enjoyed handing out one dollar bills to them.

Everyone who knew and loved her will miss her sense of humor and her warm and caring ways and compassion for those in need.

She will be sadly and greatly missed.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Joseph T. Hainzer Sr. (September 14, 2011); a daughter, Joann M. Hainzer Rose (October 7, 1972); three infant sons; her siblings: sister, Jean Fowller and brothers, William Kelly and Charles F. ‘Junior’ Kelly; and a son-in-law, John Mail.

Left to cherish her memories are Karen Bail of Uniontown Pa., Joseph T. Hainzer Jr. and wife Paula, Carmichaels, Pa., Sandy Hainzer who was her devoted caregiver and her fiance Bob Johnson, Uniontown, Pa.; grandchildren: Donald Fenton and wife Nicole, Joey T. Hainzer and friend Jessica Adams, Emily Hainzer, Rachel Bail; great grandchildren Aliva Fenton, and Joseph Jordan Hainzer; sisters: Audrey Burner, Margie Whoolery, Nancy Sage, Patricia Halluck and husband Oscar; and a brother, Albert Kelly.

A special thank you to her niece and neighbor Sylvia Hein who helped with her care. The family would also like to thank all the caregivers.

Friends will be received in the JOHN S. MAYKUTH JR. FUNERAL HOME, 7 River Ave., Masontown, Pa., today from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. and Saturday, December 21, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m., the hour of Service in the Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Randy Byers officiating.

Interment will follow in Saint Agnes Cemetery, Masontown, Pa.

The Pals Club Ladies Auxiliary will hold a Service in the Funeral Home today at 6 p.m.
