1 min read

A man armed with a handgun held up a pizza delivery man in Uniontown on Sunday evening, police said.

Uniontown police said the robbery occurred at 6:38 p.m. just after Shawn Halbrook, no address available, delivered pizzas from Vinny’s Pizza to a residence on Bierer Avenue.

Halbrook told police that as he walked back to his car from the residence, he was approached by a man who displayed a silver handgun and demanded cash.

Halbrook said he gave the man the cash he had and the suspect then fled on foot, police said.

The suspect is described as a white man, in his mid to late 30s, about 5 feet 9 inches tall and weighing about 185 pounds. He was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, a black hat and blue jeans during the holdup. He also used a black bandana to conceal his face, police said.

Anyone with information is asked to call police at 724-430-2929.
