Andrew P. Bednarik
Andrew P. Bednarik, 67, of Wheeling, West Virginia died Thursday, January 17, 2013 in Wheeling Hospital.
He was born October 21, 1945 in Uniontown, Pennsylvania the son of Andrew P. Bednarik and Agnes (Showman) Bednarik Wasmann.
Andrew was retired from City of Wheeling Water Department.
He was a very active member of Saint Vincent de Paul Catholic Church. At Saint Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, Andrew served as Lector, Sacristan, Eucharistic Minister, sang in the choir, and served in the RCIA program.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his step father, Herbert Wasmann; companion, Marlene Dietrich.
Andrew is survived by several cousins and dear friends.
Friends will be received on SATURDAY, JANUARY 26, 2013 in the SAINT VINCENT DE PAUL CATHOLIC CHURCH from 11 a.m. until 12 Noon.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, January 26, at 12 Noon at the Saint Vincent de Paul Catholic Church with Rev. Father Gary Naegele, Celebrant.
Rite of Committal will follow in the Mount Calvary Cemetery Bishop’s Chapel.
