Frances ‘Sis’ Dunlevy Frank, age 75, of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina passed away peacefully in her home Wednesday, May 29, 2013 following a short battle with cancer.
She was born Thursday October 28, 1937 in Scottdale, Pennsylvania to Edward and Frances (Wagner) Dunlevy.
Frances graduated from Scottdale High School in 1955.
‘Sis’ worked hard all of her life.
She loved laughing and joking with family and friends.
She enjoyed reading, had fun water skiing, snow skiing, golfing and traveling and was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan.
‘Sis’ enjoyed living her last years in Myrtle Beach where she was able to golf, bowl and enjoy time with many friends.
‘Sis’ knew how to really live life – she didn’t know a stranger and had an ornery quick wit, a tender heart and a great listening ear, and was a sage at giving advice.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Lee Dunlevy, brother-in-law, Vincent Sorace; husband, Morley Frank; and her beloved daughter, DJ Brandee Bowen.
She is survived by her brother, Chuck ‘Pat’ Dunlevy of Scottdale, Pennsylvania; her sister, Gladys ‘Dumpy’ Sorace, Scottdale, Pennsylvania; daughter, Robin Mills of Richmond, Virginia; son, Todd (Rhonda) Rehanek of Carolina Beach, North Carolina; four step-children: Rick Frank, David (Gretchen) Frank, Gregg Frank, and Wendy (Edwin) Gaither; Grand children: Jeremy Bryan, Joseph Rehanek, Jeremy (Stephanie) Beyer, Jenna Beyer and Daniel, Vanessa, Tucker, and Morgan Frank, and Aaron Gaither; and her loving nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her dear friend, Michael Kearns; and her sister-in-law, Mary Lou Dunlevy.
Services will be held at TRINITY UNITED METHODIST CHURCH, 501 Mulberry Street, Scottdale, PA 15683 on FRIDAY, JUNE 7, 2013 at 1:00 p.m.
Private interment at Green Ridge Memorial Park, Pennsville, Pa.
In addition, a Memorial Service will be held in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina (details to be announced at later date).
