Richard Wayne Wilson
Richard Wayne Wilson, 71 years of Smithfield, Pa., died on Sunday, June 2, 2013.
He was born February 1, 1942 in Fairchance, Pa., the son of Raymond and Elsie Rifenburg Wilson.
His parents and brother, Gregory Wilson, are predeceased.
Surviving are his loving family: his wife of 51 years, Joan Lincoln Wilson; three daughters, Beth Wilson-Popovich, Lana Poli and husband, Louie, and Jeanie Ellsworth and husband, Bobby; grandchildren, Ryan and wife, Ada, J.P. and wife, Charity, Mason, Megan, Hannah, Laney and Preston; great-grandchildren, Aden, Allie, Mackenzie and Isabella; brother, Keith Wilson and wife, Linda, of Colorado and a special mention to Brent Barton and Richard “Bubba” Rankin.
The family will receive friends in the DEAN C. WHITMARSH FUNERAL HOME, 134 West Church Street, Fairchance, Pa. today (Tuesday) from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and on Wednesday, June 5, 2013 until 10:00 a.m., the hour of service, with Rev. Scott Teets officiating.
