Gwendolyn (Weaver) Martin, 85, of Uniontown, Pa., went to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, June 4, 2013.

She was born March 9, 1928 in Uniontown, Pa.

Preceding her in death were her parents, Wendell H. Weaver and Gladys (Stull) Weaver; her husband, Robert Wendell Martin; a son, Robert Wendell Martin II brother, Robert Weaver; and two sisters: Evadean Russell and Carol Sumey.

Gwendolyn was a member of Uniontown Free Methodist Church and also the American Iris Society.

She was a Red Cross Gray Lady Volunteer.

Gwendolyn had been a Tupperwear dealer and distributor for many years.

Gwendolyn was an avid outdoors person who loved hunting and camping, crocheting, needlework, arts and crafts, spending quality time with her family.

Surviving are a sister, Barbara Casteel and husband Wilbur of Hopwood, Pa.; four sons: Patrick L. Martin and wife Geralyn, Alan Scott Martin and wife Mary Ann, and Robert W. Martin III all Uniontown, Pa., and Blake L. Martin and wife Linda, Hopwood Pa; six grandchildren: Tanya, Eaglestar, Bonnie Matthew, Vanessa and Pat Jr.; and three great grandchildren: Alex, Ben and Gabe.

Friends will be received in the JEROME W. SHELL FUNERAL HOME, 164 South Mount Vernon Ave., Uniontown, Pa., on Friday, June 7, 2013 from 2 to 6 p.m. Services will be held at 6 p.m. with the Rev. C. W. Cowsert officiating.

Private interment will be in Sylvan Heights Cemetery, Uniontown, Pa
