Pedestrian sent to hospital after traffic accident
NORTH UNION – State police said a pedestrian was hit by a vehicle on Route 40 across from the Dollar General store outside Hopwood Monday evening.
Trooper Jason Zanolli, state police, said the man was taken to Uniontown Hospital. The extent of his injuries was unknown.
Police said the driver was not injured.
Police have not released the name of the man nor the name of the driver involved in the accident.
Police said the crash is under investigation.
