The Mountain Weatherman: A Damp Monday

1 min read

After a dreary Saturday we enjoyed a beautiful Sunday in SW Pennsylvania as did the many visitors to our area that streamed up the mountain to enjoy out great outdoors.  The high yesterday was 81, the 24 hour low 55 and at 7AM we were 63 degrees with light rain.  There was .17 inches of rain overnight.  We’re surrounded by heavier rain this morning with just some scattered light showers for us this morning.  As the cold front gets closer this afternoon look for showers and thundershowers to move in and last into tomorrow morning.  We should dry out a bit tomorrow afternoon than another system moves from the NW on Wednesday giving us a good chance for afternoon and evening storms.
