The Mountain Weatherman: Storms Overnight

1 min read

Yesterday’s showery morning gave way to a very pleasant late afternoon and evening here in the mountains.  Yesterday’s high was 74, the overnight low 60, and at 7AM we were 61 degrees under partly cloudy skies.  There was .13 inches of rain yesterday.  Most of the daytime hours should be pretty nice today with a chance for a storm to pop up in the later afternoon.  The heavy storms that will be rolling through the Midwest today won’t reach us until after midnight when we could see some strong winds and heavy downpours that will last into tomorrow morning.  The showers should end tomorrow afternoon and we should start to dry out a bit by Friday afternoon.
