John Huha
John Huha, age 88, Carmichaels, Pa., died Friday, June 21, 2013 in his home.
Mr. Huha was born on March 6, 1925 in Fredericktown, Pa., the son of George and Bertha Huha.
On December 8, 1950, John married Lois Cutlip Huha, who survives.
Also surviving are two children: Mark Huha (Diana) of Oceanside, California and Sharon Thistlethwaite (Raymond), Waynesburg, Pa.; three grandchildren: Jessica Mooney (Dave), Raymond Thistlethwaite (Sharon) and Caleb Huha (Lauren); one great granddaughter, Mikayla Thistlethwaite; three brothers, Paul Huha (Velma), Steve Huha and Joseph Huha (Janet), and sisters, Irene Soojian and Rose Rodarte all of California state.
Deceased are his parents; his daughter, Stacy Huha who died in infancy; three brothers, George Huha Jr., Charles and Andrew Huha; and a sister, Margaret Huha.
Mr. Huha was an active member of the Carmichaels Congregation Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses for over 65 years. He served as an Assembly Overseer and Elder.
John, a retired Coal Miner from Duquesne Light’s Warwick Mine in Greensboro, Pa., was a member of United Mine Workers of America.
A Memorial Service will be held for Mr. Huha on SATURDAY, JULY 13 2013 at 3:00 p.m. in the KINGDOM HALL, Carmichaels, Pa.
